Oliver Power was born in 1913. The son of the Master Sculptor Albert G. Power RHA. Upon completing his studies, he trained by his father, alongside his brother Albert Jr. to be a Monumental Carver. Some of his works included the Statue of Our Lady Queen of Peace on the Broadstone junction on the western way Dublin.
